Old Pine Community Center provides licensed child care with full year preschool for children 24 months of age to kindergarten age.

Monument Village

Monument Village, run by the faith-based charity Methodist Family Services, is a permanent housing program that serves 30 families with a history of substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. The network of emergency shelters and transitional housing in Philadelphia makes referrals.

TAP Bridge Transitional Housing Program

Traveler’s Aid of Philadelphia runs the Bridge Transitional Housing Program, which serves 33 homeless families in the Spruce Hill section of West Philadelphia. The Office of Supportive Housing and a few other community based organizations make referrals.

Friends Rehabilitation Program

Part of the Friends Neighborhood Guild, the Friends Rehabilitation Program (FRP) is a faith-based organization that runs a transitional housing program to help homeless families achieve stability. FRP’s transitional program serves 115 homeless households referred by the Office of Supportive Housing.

Eliza Shirley House

One of the Salvation Army’s homeless shelters, the Eliza Shirley House is a faith-based shelter that assists single women, families, and people with mental health issues. Eliza Shirley has a capacity of 125 people and takes referrals from the Office of Supportive Housing (OSH) and people off the street.

ABI Facility

ABI is run by SELF Inc., one of the largest nonprofits helping homeless people in Philadelphia, and serves 100 families in South Philadelphia. SELF's Peer Outreach Team and the Office of Supportive Housing make referrals.

Trevor's Place

Serving both single women and female-headed households, Trevor’s Place is a community-based shelter in North Philly that houses 60 members of families and 12 singles. The Office of Supportive Housing makes referrals.

Jane Addams Place

Recently re-opened, Jane Addams Place is a comprehensive emergency shelter for up to twenty nine mothers with children in Philadelphia.
